Hanoi-Hai Duong Beer Joint Stock Company, located in Hai Duong, is a company that has undergone various transformations since its establishment. Originally a noodle processing factory supported by the Soviet Union, the company started producing beer and beverage products in 1991. Following the policy of the Party and the State, the company converted from a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) to a joint stock company in September 1999. It operates under the Enterprise Law and is registered with the Department of Planning and Investment of Hai Duong province. In 2004, the company became a member of Hanoi Beer – Alcohol – Beverage Joint Stock Corporation, after the transfer of State capital from Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Office to the Ministry of Industry (now the Ministry of Industry and Trade). The company has experienced significant growth and development. It started with a craft steam beer production line and now has advanced production equipment manufactured by Vietnam and Germany. The company has a capacity of 15 million liters of draft beer per year and uses modern systems such as Kiesselguhr and PVPP filter systems, a bottle filling line system by KRONES Group AG, and a PLC controlled Cooking and Fermentation System manufactured by POLYCO – VN. Over the years, the company has received recognition and awards from the State and the Government for its achievements. These include the Second Class Labor Medal of the President in 1996, the First Class Labor Medal of the President in 2000, and the Prime Minister's Emulation Flag in 2001. The Ministry of Industry (Ministry of Industry and Trade) also awarded the company with the Emulation flag in 2006, 2008, and 2009.
