Medipharco Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Hue) (Vietnam)

Medipharco Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, also known as Medipharco, is a pharmaceutical company located in Hue, Vietnam. It was first established on April 8, 4, after the country's liberation and reunification. The company has undergone several name changes throughout its history, including Thua Thien Hue Pharmaceutical Company, Binh – Tri – Thien Pharmaceutical Union Enterprise, Thua Thien Hue Pharmaceutical Enterprise, and Thua Thien Hue Pharmaceutical Company. In 1999, the Ministry of Health designated Medipharco as a member unit of Vietnam Pharmaceutical Corporation and changed its name to Hue Central Pharmaceutical Company. The company was later equitized and renamed TW Medipharco Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. It was approved by the State Securities Commission to increase its charter capital and changed its name to Medipharco -Tenamyd Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. Medipharco is involved in the production, trading, and import-export of medicines, medical instruments, supplies and equipment, cosmetic products, hygiene products, biological products, essential oils, and flavorings. The company also provides healing medicine storage services and is engaged in financial investment, market research, opinion polling services, real estate business, and alcohol production and trading. Medipharco is listed on the UPCOM exchange of the Hanoi Stock Exchange, with the stock code MTP. In 2011, the company established a joint venture called Medipharco Tenamyd BR Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company with Tenamyd Cosmetic Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Bruschettini – S.R.L / Italy Co., Ltd. The parent company of the joint venture is TW Medipharco-Tenamyd Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. In 2017, the company changed its name to Medipharco Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. On January 1, 1, the company merged with Medipharco-Tenamyd BR s.r.l Pharmaceutical Joint Venture JSC.
