OPC Pharmaceutical Joint-Stock Company, located in Ho Chi Minh municipality, was originally established as Central Pharmaceutical Factory No.26 on October 24, 1977. It is a leading company in the production and sales of herbal medicine. OPC was the first herbal medicine unit to be issued the GMP, GLP, and GSP certificates by Vietnam's Drug Administration and Ministry of Health. The company started with just over 100 employees and has since grown. It has a 7000 m2 office and factory area. OPC has been actively involved in marketing activities since the 1980s, effectively promoting its brand and products across urban and rural areas of Vietnam. The company has overcome challenges and expanded its business scale, constantly improving its science and technology and creating high-quality products to meet the healthcare needs of customers. OPC is known as one of the leading brands in Vietnam's herbal medicine industry, with a focus on quality, safety, and effectiveness. In 2002, Central Pharmaceutical Factory No.26 was converted into OPC Pharmaceutical Joint-Stock Company. The company now has a factory in Binh Duong, which has achieved GMP WHO Certificates and covers a 5.6 ha area. OPC has over 700 highly qualified employees and a distribution system consisting of 9 branches. The company has received various honors and awards from the State Government. OPC produces over 150 certified products, with more than 70% made from herbs, and distributes them through its branches across the country.
