Viet Tri Paper Company, formerly known as Viet Tri Paper Factory, was established in December 1958 and began operations on May 19, 1961. The initial production capacity was 18,000 tons per year, with the main product being writing paper. In October 1998, Viet Tri Paper Factory changed its name to Viet Tri Paper Company. During this period, the company was approved by the Prime Minister to invest in a 25,000-ton per year industrial packaging paper production line. In 2002, the industrial packaging paper production line went into operation, significantly increasing the company's overall capacity. In October 2008, the company transitioned to a joint-stock company model, with the state holding a 29% stake in the company. In 2010, the company invested in an additional 20,000-ton per year writing paper production line, increasing the company's capacity to 80,000 tons per year. The company's main products currently include Duplex coated paper, Krafliner paper, writing paper, cement packaging paper, and corrugated paper. The company's products have established a brand presence in the market and have been approved and highly regarded by customers. Since operating as a joint-stock company, the company has experienced significant annual growth, providing stable employment and decent income for its workers. The annual dividend payout has consistently reached 14% per share.
