The subject's precursor was a state unit Hanoi Sewing Thread Factory, which was established in 1976. Currently, it participates in the spinning of textile yarn, thread as well as trading raw cotton and synthetic fiber. According to Ms. Vu Thi Hien Trang - the chief accountant, the subject importsraw cotton and synthetic fiber from India, Switzerland, the USA, Taiwan… for both spinning and trading. About 50% of its output products of textile yarn and thread are exported overseas to South Korea, Japan and the EU.Ms. Vu Thi Hien Trang said that due to rocketing prices of raw cotton and synthetic fiber in 2022, the subject's profit from spinning was reduced seriously. Anyway, thanks to focusing on trading raw cotton and synthetic fiber, the subject generated about VND 501 billion of revenue in the first nine months of 2022, equaling 105% of net sales in 2021. Currently, turnover from trading raw cotton and synthetic fiber accounts for over 50% of the subject's total sales, she added.Noticeably, In Nov 2021, the subject was fined VND 350 million by the State Securities Committee because it delayed registering for securities trading. Anyway, according to Ms. Vu Thi Hien Trang, the subject is now not a public company, having around 30 shareholders.
