Joint-stock company food industry A.D. Prehrambena industrija Aleva Novi Knezevac was founded in 1947. as: Obilic pepper mill in Novi Knezevac which later became drying industry 'Drier in Novi Knezevac' subsidiary of the pepper processing and grinding industry in Horgos.
Until 1960 the basic activity of the company had been spice pepper processing and grinding, while in the same year the program for fruit and vegetables processing was introduced (curing through high temperature and drying).
n the following years, assortment continued to expand (coffee, food seasoning Kulinat, puddings, foam cream, etc.) with the continuation in the spice pepper processing and improvement in onion and parsnip processing by drying.
Aleva is today a modern food industry with over 160 types of various products.Annual production is as much as around 4.000 tons of various products achieved with as much as 300 employees.
In year 2005 Aleva is going through ownership transformation, becoming part of Flory trading group.
