Sasfin Holdings Limited is a bank-controlling company based in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was listed on the JSE in 1987 and consists of three business pillars: Asset Finance, Bank, and Wealth. The company has regional offices in four South African provinces and eight cities. Sasfin is a B-BBEE 1 contributor. Sasfin was originally established in 1951 as a textile trading business and later transformed into a finance business in the 1960s. It became a trade and equipment financier when it listed on the JSE in 1987. In 1991, Sasfin established SASP, the oldest standing securitisation vehicle in South Africa. In 1999, the company obtained a banking license and in 2000, it acquired Frankel Pollak Securities, which now forms the foundation of Sasfin Wealth.
