Siderurgica based in Blumenau-SC, Electro Aco Altona S.A. was incorporated in 1971, however, the company existed since in 1924 as a small foundry and workshop for mechanical repairs. Already in the 70's Electro Aco Altona S.A started it's exportation activities of steel castings, to countries like USA and Germany. With an installed production capacity of about 1.400 tons/month of rough, machined and finished cast components, combined with technology, diversification of processes and flexibility, Altona is one of the leading foundries and manufacturers of its kind.
