South Eastern Coalfields Limited(SECL) a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, is a coal producer of India. The company was incorporated in 1985 under Ministry of Coal by Central Government of India and acquires coals mainly from four districts of Chattisgarh, namely Bilaspur, Raigarh, Surguja and Korea and Shahdol district of MP. The company's major four coalfields include Korba, Central India, Mand-Raigarh and Ramkola-Ttapani. SECL uses Longwell, Side Discharge Load, Long Hole Discharge, Continuous Miner and Manual techniques to extract coal.
