Empresa Minera los Quenuales, is a polymetallic miner in charge of two mining units in the region Lima: Yauliyacu in the district and Icaycruz Chicla in Pachangara district. The company is a subsidiary of Glencore Finance (Bermuda) Ltd., which owns 97% of the shares. It was established in August 1996 as a company of the Peruvian State, in October 2002, the company becomes the property of Glencore. The Mining Unit operates Iscaycruz Underground mining and open pit for the production of zinc concentrates, lead, copper and silver, while the unit Yauliyacu Underground, the company has a concentration plant to produce copper and silver.
