ENKA was founded as a limited liability company in 1957 with the partnership between Sarik Tara and Sadi Gulcelik, under the name “Sarik Tara ve Sadi Gulcelik ENKA Ltd.Sti.". Nowadays the company has numerous construction projects in Turkey and abroad. Some of them are a mega-highway project in Romania, a brand new city in Oman, a new terminal at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport, a football stadium in Donetsk, Ukraine, a Toyota car factory in St. Petersburg, Russia and oil field infrastructure on Sakhalin Island in Russia.
