Toyota Otomotiv Sanayi Türkiye Anonim Şirketi, located in Sakarya, is one of Toyota's production facilities in Europe. It was established in the Arifiye district of Sakarya Province and is responsible for manufacturing the Corolla and Toyota C-HR models. The majority of the production is exported to over 150 countries worldwide. Toyota Otomotiv Sanayi Türkiye is 90% owned by Toyota Motor Europe NV/SA (TME) and 10% owned by Mitsui & Co., Ltd. With a total investment of 2.16 billion euros, the company employs over 5,000 people. Committed to achieving the highest quality production with the contribution of all its members, Toyota Otomotiv Sanayi Türkiye has been implementing the Toyota Production System (TPS) since its establishment. Today, Toyota Otomotiv Sanayi Türkiye is the largest volume factory for Toyota in Europe, with an annual production capacity of 280,000 units.
