Established on May, 2005, Chi Mei Materials Technology Corporation was invested by Chi Mei Industry Holding Corporation, mainly engaged in manufacturing and selling of polarizers used in Liquid Crystal Display, and its stock being exchanged on Aug. 30, 2010 on GreTai. 2. Rank and Background of Operation: A. Main controllers are Chi Mei Industry with its five directors and two supervisors being designated representatives of Chi Mei Industry and Chi Mei Electronic. Its chairman is LIAO Jinxiang, the Legal Person of Chi Mei Industry. The other two directors from Chi Mei Industry are WANG Zhichao and PAN Taiji. The supervisors are CHEN Yansong, the Legal Person of Yuanqi Investment under Chi Mei Group, and LIN Qingsheng, the supervisor of Qili Guangdian. B. Besides Chi Mei Industry and Chi Mei Electronic, other shareholders are Lianqi Development , Yuanqi Investment ,ect. 3. Brief Introduction of Operation: the revenue comes from manufacturing and selling of polarizers. Up to Aug. 2010, the global market share was about 5.2%. B. Currently the main manufacturers are from Japan and Korea. Up to 2009, three of the biggest manufacturers are LG Chemistry from Korea, Ridong Electricity and Zhuyou Chemistry from Japan. C. Polaizers are mainly used for Chi Mei Electricity. D. It mainly purchases the raw matierials from Fushi. Purchasing from Fushi from 2008 to 2009 accounted for over 50%.
