FOCI Fiber Optic Communications, Inc. (Taiwan, China)

In January 1995, the Preparatory Office was established and submitted proposed operating plan to the Science Park Administration. In June, the company was set up with licenses and moved into the Science Park One innovative way. So FOCI Fiber Optic Communications, Inc. officially began to operate. In September it obtained business registry license. In February 1996, it participated in OFC96 Exhibition (SanJose, USA). In April it introduced the ISO9001 quality system formally, by Park Authority through the "optical circulator" Innovation Award for research and development program. In June it got SGSYarsley ICS.ISO9001 quality assurance system certification. In July it awarded ISO9001 certification. In the same month the company participated in the Taipei International Optoelectronics Exhibition 1996 and was awarded the Outstanding Photonics Product Award; In December it was awarded by the Republic of China Society for Optical Engineering "Excellent Supplier Award optics" and "Technology Contribution Award". In February 1997, it completed the development of "low polarization dispersion fiber circulator". In April the Company moved to a new plant operation. In July "low polarization mode dispersion fiber isolation devices" patented certification by the Republic of China. In December fiber optic isolation device Dual fiber loop was awarded by the "Taiwan Excellence Award." In February 1998, it passed the "all-fiber high-density wavelength division multiplexer" innovative research and development programs sponsored by park authority. In March "side by side reflective optical circulator" was patented certification by the Republic of China. In July it was issued certification from Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. High-density wavelength division multiplexer in December 1998 received the "Innovation Product Award." In January 1999, it was by the Ministry of Economic Affairs issued a "production economy Seventh Industrial Technology Development Excellence Award". It was issued in February, "a 1998-degree SME Innovation Research Award" by the Ministry of Economic Affairs. In June it passed ISO9001 certification. In August 2000, the company was issue of "high-density wavelength division multiplexer filter module." In August 2002, it got ISO9001-2000 certification in Taiwan.
