Systems and Technology Corp. was established in 1987 with vision of innovating and providing tracking solutions, geographical information systems and navigation. In 2000, when the Global Positioning Satellite network was made available for civilian use, S&T leveraged its development know-how from digital mapping, to expand into GPS Navigation and Automatic Vehicle Locating (AVL) systems. There are over 20 key component suppliers and leading automakers working with S&T as strategic partners for product development. Our AVL system has rapidly penetrated the major European and US markets. With well-established networks of over 100 distributors worldwide, S&T has gained recognition for new patent designs and our products have passed stringent test requirements from worldwide customers. In 2007, Systems and Technology announced a joint venture with Tele Atlas to form Tele Atlas Taiwan Co., Ltd., an independent entity focused on delivering a complete digital map of the territory for portable, Internet, in-car and wireless navigation systems and applications.
