History:

1982: Establishment Coalimex Material import-Export Company (Coalimex).
1995: After foundation of Vietnam National Coal Corporation on Oct., 10th, 1994 and officially under operation on Jan., 1st, 1995. Ministry of Industry gave a decision No. 137NL/TCCB on Apr., 1st, 1995 to shift Coalimex to be under Vietnam National Coal Corporation. On Dec., 25th, 1996, the name was changed into Coalimex Import-Export and Cooperation Company and the international transaction name Coalimex is unchanged.
2005: The company changed to operate under form of Joint stock company under the decision No.149/QD-BCN dated Dec., 1st, 2004 of Ministry of Industry, State (with representative is Vietnam National Coal Corporation) hold control shares. Company s name changed to Vinacoal Import - Export Joint stock company and the trasaction name Coalimex.
2007: Renamed TKV - Coal Import Export Joint Stock Company.
2010: Renamed The name of company has been changed into Vinacomin - Coal Import Export Joint Stock Company - Vinacomin on October 2010. The Company operating under the business license number: 0100100304 by Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi on May 26th, 2010.
2016: The Company s shares were listed on Hanoi Stock exchange under the symbol CLM
