Minera Bateas, is a production company that has polymetallic epithermal deposits. The mine, processing plant and all the infrastructure of the project that manages Bateas Mining, are located in the Caylloma Mining District, in the region of Arequipa. Minera Bateas, is a subsidiary of Canadian Company: Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. was founded in Peru in 2005, and is currently authorized to operate in Caylloma Mine, to 1,030 tpd of ore. The concentrates of lead, silver and zinc are taken weekly at the port of Callao to be exported.
